We are now looking for a financial controller to join our group finance team, working alongside accountants and external service companies in Finland and abroad. The finance function supports Miltton as it expands rapidly - organically and by acquisition - and develops its market-leading offering in Finland and abroad.

As a finance controller you would be joining our group finance team, working alongside accountants and external service companies in Finland and abroad (Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Belgium, USA and Ukraine). Note that this position is located in Helsinki, Finland.

Your responsibilities include:

• Accuracy and integrity of the books of the holding company and its Finnish subsidiaries
• Overseeing the work performed by the accounting service company in Finland
• Definition and consistent implementation of Miltton’s accounting policies
• Monthly closing of the books, ensuring a good foundation for management reporting and financial planning, and assisting with the preparation of quarterly group accounts
• Main user of the group consolidation and reporting system
• Planning the year-end close, coordinating with audit and accountants across the group

What you should bring:

• A solid experience in accounting, ideally in a professional services company or audit firm
• Higher education in finance, accounting, auditing or similar field
• Experience of group accounting and consolidation and reporting systems (Clausion FPM or equivalent)
• Strong communication skills in English and Finnish, spoken and written
